FitClique is made by Human Games Corp ("we"). This policy explains what we collect when you use the FitClique iOS app, why, and what you can do about it. Questions: f@iirc.fm.
What we collect
Account. Your name and email address, from Sign in with Apple or the email you give us. If you hide your email with Apple we receive Apple's relay address.
Photos you post. Proof photos taken in the app (meals, workouts, weigh-ins, body photos) and your profile photo. Proofs are visible only to members of the Clique they were posted in. Body photos are never shown outside that Clique.
Health data. With your permission, daily step counts and sleep from Apple Health, and sleep from Oura or Whoop if you connect them. We use it only to judge the rules of the Cliques you are in and to show you and your Clique the results. We never use health data for advertising, never sell it, and never share it with third parties for their own purposes.
Messages. Text you send in a Clique chat, reactions, and reports you make.
Wallet. Pledges, fees, payouts and balance. If you add money by card, Stripe handles your card details. We never see or store your card number. We store the amount and a Stripe customer reference.
Device. An install identifier, device model, iOS version, and an Apple App Attest key to confirm proofs come from a real phone and a real camera. Motion and depth signals from the camera are summarised at capture time to detect photos of screens; the raw signals are not kept.
Push token. So we can notify you about your Cliques. Turn it off in iOS Settings at any time.
How we use it
To run Cliques: judge rules, kick, settle, pay out.
To read meal photos. Meal proofs are sent to Anthropic's API to estimate calories and macros. The photo is not used to train models and is not retained by Anthropic beyond the request.
To keep the game fair: detect duplicate or faked proofs, one account per phone.
To notify you: new proofs, kicks, settlements, a reminder when nothing has been posted.
To respond to reports and keep the chats safe.
Who we share it with
Supabase hosts our database and photo storage in the EU.
Stripe processes card payments.
Anthropic reads meal photos for nutrition estimates.
Apple for sign in, push notifications and App Attest.
Oura and Whoop only if you connect them, and only to read your sleep.
Other members of your Clique see your name, photo, proofs, messages, steps and sleep scores for that Clique.
We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
For as long as you have an account. Proof photos are kept for the length of the sprint plus 90 days for disputes, then deleted. Wallet records are kept as long as the law requires.
Deleting your account
In the app: You tab, Delete account. This removes your photos, messages, health records, device records, push tokens, wearable connections and your login. Pledges in live sprints are forfeited to the finishers, as if you had quit. Membership rows stay as anonymous entries so other members' pots still add up.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, or have it deleted by emailing f@iirc.fm. If you are in the UK or EU you can also complain to your data protection authority.
Children
FitClique is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes
We will post changes here and update the date at the top. Big changes get a notice in the app.
